History of WS NSW/ACT, Australia Grand Chapter
Since 2020, a group of Brethren from Sydney and Newcastle who regularly ride together during weekends have contemplated of chartering and affiliating with the International Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association. A Wbro has approached the WSMRA-Philippines Grand Chapter who quickly had sent communications to the Grand Chapters of Illinois and Florida for the intentions of the Brethren down under.
Pooling their resources together, seventeen (17) motorcycle riding Masons, becoming the founding officers and members, came together to organise the trips and accommodation of the charterers and visitors.
On the 16th October, 2022, In the presence of WS brosons from Canada and Philippines, The Florida and Illinois Widows Sons Masonic Riders Associations have granted and confirm the establishment of Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association Grand Chapter of NSW & ACT Australia, signed and sealed by Wbro. Jim Baade, President, Florida Council of Presidents & Wbro. Joe Norman, President Illinois Presidents’ Council.
